I love this place! We made a reservation for the only day and time available, it's a small restaurant, could only get Friday lunchtime as they are closed Saturday and Sunday. Wow, delightful food, menu only has a few items, but everything is fresh and fabulously well prepared and served. Staff know all about the food, and ensure we know in English what the options are. My first course was the fine slices of lamb, followed by the Dorado, beautifully served and totally fresh. Desert was perfect end to the meal. This is a small fantastic restaurant when the front of house works in perfect harmony with the kitchen. I was astonished when I read that everything was achieved by a couple working together. A wonderful local restaurant recommended by our Airbnb host. The ambience is casual and cozy. Our host was very friendly and explained everything to us in English. The bread that kept coming was delicious. Every dish from the amuse bouche to dessert is amazing. The theme of appetizers were both fish, but it taste vastly different. I preferred the haddock as the whole dish really worked together the fresh and crispiness. The mains were divine, the risotto is just packed with flavors. The lamb was excellent too, it was cooked to perfection, juicy like duck breast but the flavor of lamb is really rich. Lastly the pear with the chocolate dessert is my fav. Please do come visit! Even while charming, stylish and well-located, the first impression fails to give a true notion of how delicious and enjoyable the dining was at this restaurant. We had the lunch menu. Our appetizers were tasty, a bit on the conventional side but well-executed. For the main, I had the canette, and this subtler, more tender cut of duck, accentuated by the sauce and pairing with a rich eggplant caviar, was probably the tastiest duck I've had. The dessert, a chocolate cake they've been making for years and years, was exceptional, radically contrasting a dark, bitter chocolate cake with a light, honey ice cream.
