Not recommended at all. Disgraceful service. The host was very unkind, not patient. Unpleasant atmosphere. We moved to another restaurant nearby and were greeted with a smile.

Response to the owner: We arrived 40 minutes late, and you were informed about it by phone. You confirmed that it is fine. Anyway, it doesn't really matter because when we arrived the restaurant was empty (maybe it really isn't that good). You are welcome to come to the United States or any other western country and learn about hospitality, respect and customer service. Don't speak for the French, because who are you to tell me what honor is? You still have a lot to learn about hospitality. And don't speak in the name of "your town" because you get your livelihood from the tourists here. What you want or don't want is irrelevant, because you are nothing. We had a great time at the other restaurants in Alpe dHuez and will definitely...

Nice homely interior but very disappointing food. The beef tataki was cut too thick and was very chewy and flavourless. The carpaccio of sea bass was ruined by the addition of mayonnaise that dominated the subtle flavor of the fish and other ingredients. We both had the steak on the menu, that was so chewy we couldn't eat it. We left it on the plate and the waitress wasn't interested in why. The strawberry desert was overpowered by basil oil and features cream that was flavourless (almost impossible in France) and very heavy. Also left on the plate half eaten. Service was attentive to begin with but as the restaurant filled up they weren't serving the tables. Maybe they had a bad night, but based on this experience we wouldn't recommend...

Fun, well executed restaurant serving french cuisine. Possibly the best food we had, it's refined, modern and experimental. The prawn tortellini was excellent. The mushroom gnocchi was so full of flavour (just a little too much mousse for us). The carrot cake was a fun experiment that was well executed but didn't quite hit the spot (that said, the chocolate got a rave thumps up). That said everyone at the table enjoyed their dishes and it's good value. An impressive wine list and the service was attentive, helpful and on point. Everything you'd want from a restaurant is here if you're looking for a great food experience in the area. It's a place that feels there's still more...
