The Spot — Restaurant in Grenoble

We visited here on our last day of our ski trip.

Booking is required but it is well worth it. We arrived early for our booking and the French gentleman host kindly allowed us to sit at another reserved table (that wasn't yet taken) until the guests arrived. We had a few drinks whilst we waited.

The menu - there's a big menu. Lots of choice and choice that we didn't see anywhere else in the town. Within our group we ordered the Thai salads, the X hot burger and I availed of the "bold your own burger" plus the BBQ loaded fries. Everyone cleared their plates and left very satisfied.

Looking around I also couldn't help but notice how happy and hard working the staff seemed. It seemed sincere rather than forced unlike some of the other bars and hire shops where employees seem like they are hostages to the season.

Would absolutely recommend The Spot to anyone. Definitely worth planning a visit...

Usually when you go out with young children you expect it to be chaotic for one reason or another. Not on this occasion, Danny took control of the group and managed the eight children perfectly, allowing the six adults to enjoy some adult conversation and a few laughs. The children were treated with respect and orders taken promptly with food arriving swiftly. They had plenty to keep them occupied and they felt like they were having their own night out. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced, I chose a steak, cooked to perfection whilst others built their own burgers and tried the salmon on offer. We enjoyed the deserts, pictured is the alternative take on the Banoffee Pie, delicious too! We would all fully recommend the Spot and would hurry back if we return to...

Simply the BEST restaurant around. You will not find a better combination of great food, staff, location, service, and value. Plain and simple

The food is quality, well presented and affordable. The drinks are consistent and worth the coin. “The Spot” is family friendly. They host multiple events in support of local children each season, and they will treat you like family from the moment you walk through the door.

Multi-lingual, happy, personable, interesting, kind, funny, attentive, relatable… It is genuinely a one of a kind culinary experience for this part of the world.
