Upon approaching this establishment a gentleman who I would later come to find out was not so lovely directed myself and my party of 4 to sit on a table that had not been cleared from the previous party, there bill was still there and all €110 in total if anyone is wondering. Less than impressed we sat anyway and perused the menu. After 10 minutes of sitting there we found it odd that no waiter had cleared or even approached our table. The young man who sat us at the table was running around setting tables, presumably for dinner service an odd thing at 4pm. As it had been a while we gestured to him and he responded in a way that lead us to believe he would be right over. 10 more minutes passed... I stood up and made eye contact with this waiter to which he responded across the restaurant "Oui" which would lead me to believe he would be right over. 5 minutes later when the same waiter was resetting a table not 2 metres away from us and clearly too busy with his 7pm dinner service to serve the table he had sat on an uncleared dirty table not 25 minutes ago. At this point it was clear the staff did not care for either their workplace or the customers that reside within it so we decided to leave. The icing on the cake of this whole ordeal was that same waiter making eye contact as we left and winking to us as we left the restaurant without being served. Read moreI don't normally like to leave bad reviews but we were very disappointed with this place. After being seated we waited for about 15 minutes before a much larger table arrived and the waiter started to take their order before they had even asked what we would like to drink. We didn't even have water and it was a hot day. Another table who had been there before us were also still waiting and even ended up raising their hand to try to get someone's attention. When we asked when we would be seen to the response was basically "what do you want me to do about it". An apology would have been nice! The atmosphere wasn't a good one, it felt as though the staff were stressed and didn't really want to be there. We walked out. They were busy but we counted just two people serving and three people clearing and relaying tables for new customers. Look after the customers...
Read more1ERE fois venue à 2 en mars. Accueil moyen. J’ai voulu donner une autre chance en y retournant en famille en juillet. Table de 4, paeëlla et cassolette de la mer très bonnes. Assiette salade chèvre chaud : beaucoup de salade verte, 2 chèvres dans une espèce de brique toute grasse, déception. De mon côté je commande une assiette de fruits de mer mais je précise que je ne veux pas les coquillages : le serveur en prend note et je l’entends l’annoncer à l’employé qui gère les assiettes de la mer et qui est juste derrière nous. (Banc poisson) Arrive mon assiette, il y’a les coquillages, je dis au serveur (un autre) que je ne les veux pas dans l’assiette, il me répond qu’ils ne seront pas remplacer. Ok c’est pas du service à la clientèle mais je n’ai rien demandé si ce n’est de les retirer. Il ramène mon assiette et je l’ai entendu avec l’employé qui prépare les fruits de mer : n’importe quoi ! On enlève tous les coquillages ? Les bulots ? Beh ?? Mais voyons, quel est le problème les gars ? Qu’est ce que vous ne comprenez pas ? Et en + vous portez un jugement sur la demande !! J’ai du rappeler un serveur pour avoir du pain aussi. Bref, nous n’irons plus, nous le déconseillons car ce n’est pas tout : Ah moment de partir, un couple est arrivé (etranger parlant anglais) et un employé les a installés à une table. Apparemment ce n’était pas ici qu’ils auraient dû s’installer, car un serveur : petit brun quarantaine est arrivé et a dit à son collègue : tu les as mis où les 2 forains ?? En parlant du couple juste arrivé. Whaou !!! On est où ??? Honteux !!! Donc plus jamais !! Je suis une française expatriée, je ne viens pas souvent mais ma famille, mes amis habitent la région de l’île de ré et croyez moi on ne va pas faire de la bonne publicité.
