During my recent stay in La Rochelle I had the pleasure of dining at La Bonne Pâte, conveniently located just across the road from my hotel. This charming restaurant, nestled in a small court surrounded by other bars and restaurants, exceeded all my expectations and provided an unforgettable dining experience.From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly by the owner, whose charismatic and friendly nature immediately set a welcoming tone. His passion for his craft and genuine care for his patrons were evident in every interaction, making the atmosphere both inviting and lively.The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, each made with the freshest ingredients and a perfect blend of flavors. My two friends and I left very happy. HORRIBLE ! Un petit resto dans un endroit calme dans La Rochelle qui accepte de nous prendre : 7 adultes, 2 enfants et 2 bébés. Un patron qui n’aime pas son travail, qui a été extrêmement désagréable tout le long du service ( soufflait, gueulait, levait les yeux aux ciel...) au moment du paiement nous voulions chacun régler sa part il se met à nous engueuler à nous dire qu’on avais rien à faire là encore à 23h et qu’on devait s’arranger entres nous. ( nous faisons parfois des restaurants à 30 et chacun paye sa part sa ne pose jamais aucun problèmes ) Jusqu’ici nous étions très gentil mais remarques sur remarques il se permet de prendre la main d’une des petites filles pour la viré de son comptoir en gueulant encore. Nous nous permettons de faire une remarque sur le service ultra désagréable et là c’était partie : insultes, menaces, limite a vouloir employé la force ! Il était bel et bien bourré dans son propre établissement pendant le service ! « Avec vos enfants là, occupez les » « vous êtes des connards de toute façon » et j’en passe des meilleures ! Rien à reprocher à la nourriture qui était bonne mais certainement pas un endroit à...
