Haute cuisine with brilliant and professional service. The dishes are beautifully presented, as you'd expect for the higher price.

We had 3 courses each with a €60 bottle of 2021 sauvignon blanc to share. The wine was great (although a 3x markup over store price is a bit steep). The starters were probably the best part, with interesting flavour combinations and fantastic presentation.

The mains were tasty but not as exciting. The langoustine main had too little langoustine, and serving it on butterbeans felt a bit basic. My monkfish bouillabaisse was fine (a little salty), but nothing to write home about and lacked the pizzazz of the starters.

For dessert, I had the tarte tatin which was fantastic, although my fiancée's dish was a miss - a "revisited cheese platter" (which included goats cheese and vanilla ice cream) just doesn't work. Well presented but not so much to our liking.

The outdoors could do with some music to create more ambience, and hide the slight road noise.

Overall, a nice experience with some hits and some misses on the food. The server was lovely, the outdoors area was well decorated, but needed more ambience, and the wine was good...

Really Delicious food, very friendly service, a great place for dinner.

3rd visit in 3 years, the food just gets better and better, the combination of flavours is an experience, come here, you won't be disappointed.

in April 2022 new owners took over and the food has been taken to a new level, we are coming back later this year (2024) and are already planning our visit here again for dinner!

(I have removed the old photo's from before Julie and Anthony...

Oh my what a find. So good we re booked for next week after we finished. A wonderful small menu that you know has passion and expertise poured into it. A superb selection of wine and attentive service ( you can sense their pride too). It was a faultless meal and the goat ice cream a first but definitely not the last.
