I do not post reviews very often, but for this place I have to! Already read another review saying ‘best pizza in the area’ and this must be true. We ordered twice here for takeaway, but talking to the staff and seeing how nice the place is being run and decorated I quickly regret not having diner at the place itself. Summarized positives: VERY friendly staff and most of them (very well) capable of communicating in English The taste of the food is rich, balanced and you can really taste that they use fresh and high quality ingredients Fun fact: you can spot how serious they take preparing pizza’s by the fact that the chef is measuring the temperature of the oven with a remote thermometer before the pizza’s go into the oven. Ingredients on the menu have a special touch; it’s not ‘with cheese’ but type x cheese aged for y months and not ‘with ham’ but with smoked ham from a specific region. And yes, you will notice it’s true!
Too bad I didn’t got to taste their wines, but I have a gut feeling they would have matched nicely. They told me that they were open for just a few months yet, I think it makes it even more impressive.
If I would have to mention one downside; We have a family with 4 kids and the youngest is just 2 years old. I wouldn’t have felt comfortable with our kids having diner there because they get bored too quick and I don’t want to disturb the other guests having diner there too with the noise of our kids. But this is more a general issue, most restaurants don’t have a (small) kids corner or something…it’s just a pity that with a larger family with young kids you’re mostly bound to these all-you-can-eat concepts which is more or less the exact opposite of this place and I’d very much rather would like to eat here :)
