Château de Chaussy — Hotel in Largentière

The Chateau de Chaussy is a very nice place with several gites around the Chateau and appartments in the Chateau. The pool is great with a nice view over the country. There's a ping pong table and table football such as animals and trampoline (which we haven't used). The owners are very nice and helpful and there are nice activites such as Yoga in the garden or a Barbecue party where all guests were invited. Our gite was small but has everything you need. Only problem was that it was very hot in the week we stayed there and didn't have any AC in that bungalow (otheres do). And the water in the shower took very long to drain off.||The Chateau is just a 10 minutes walk away from the center of Ruoms where there are a lot of shops and restaurant and there's also a nocturnal market. It's an ideal position for biking trips in the region, paddling, visiting...

We stayed in Chateau de Chaussy during the extreme heat in August 2023.||Sleeping in a appartment in an ancient castle is a cool experience. We had an amazing stay with our baby girl in the first week of July.|The Chateau looks amazing, what a view! We stayed in one of the renovated apartments which were very clean and very well equipped. Also the pool is great and not busy at all.||Even though we could not speak French, we had very good contact with the other people at the Chateau.||It is close to Ruoms and Pont d’Arc.||David, the manager was very friendly and helpful. |He runs the Chateau perfectly.|We definitely want to go back, if not next year,...
