La Voile Bleue — Restaurant in Le Havre

I’ve been traveling in France for almost two weeks, including Paris and this has been my favorite meal. Came for mussels but they were out of season so was “forced” into oysters, clams and octopus… well I’m glad mussels were out of season. The staff were delightful and kind, the food was delicious and the patio, although on a street is right by the harbor. A quality seafood restaurant with reasonable prices. The service is good. The staff give honest recommendations about their food based on the season and we would suggest you follow their lead. We had the seafood platter for two, which did not disappoint. If we're ever in Le Havre again, this will be our first point of call. It's difficult to get seafood this fresh, even next to the sea.

Tried different dishes. the grilled sebrasse was good, the burger was mediocre, the mussels (norman) were tasteless, the fries were so soft you couldn't dip them in the mayonnaise. The fries that were kindly brought in as a replacement were no better. A poor performance for a brasserie that specializes in moules frites.
