Bus Stop Diner — Restaurant in Les Andelys

Do not attend. Looks okay, but poor experience. Of highest concern was the attitude of one waiter, the older one. Our table was dirty, and when we asked to have it cleaned we were greeted by rudeness, as if to say we were overreacting. It had clear grime and letfover food crumps on it. His attitude continued. The wait time for the food was almost 30mins, without apology. An elderly couple next to us experienced the same and complained, and were met by his attitude again. He ignored their polite concerns and told them they were not the only customers. Appalling! When he asked us about our experience at the end, we explained issues with the food. He rejected the comments, so i wonder why he bothers asking. Further, there were issues with the food. The food looked good for others, but our orders were poor. My partner had a beef wrap which was 90% salad, with a poor taste. I ordered an omlet which was supposed to come with bacon, baked beans, sausage, tomatoe, mushroom, chips, and toast. The omlet was plain; the bacon was 1 small piece cut in 3 and im not sure whatever it was it counts as bacon; the tomatoes and mushrooms did not seem fried but rather microwaved; the chips were cold; the sausage was a hotdog (that is not the same); there were no baked beans; and the toast was a microwaved dinner role. Poor. This was rather expensive too, so would expect more. Consider any other...

We chose this so called ‘restaurant’ due to its 4 star reviews on a stop over to Calais.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place was such a disappointment that I feel obligated to warn others. The food was terrible—oily, bland, and completely lacking flavor. To make matters worse, only about a quarter of the menu was actually available, which made the already poor experience even more frustrating. On top of that, the prices were absurd for the quality (or lack thereof). The service wasn’t rude, but it certainly wasn’t friendly either—just indifferent. Overall, a miserable dining experience. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant...

Nous nous sommes rendus à ce restaurant et avons pu manger dehors car une table venait de se libérer car les personnes précédentes sont parties puisque la carte ne leur plaisait pas.

Nous avons été servis plus très rapidement. Le milkshake banane n’était pas bon. Si j’avais voulu boire un médicament je serais resté chez moi. Je vous conseille ensuite de mettre vos entrées dans de petites assiettes puisqu’elles n’occupent que 1/4 de celles ci. Rien pour décorer ou pour agrémenter le plat.

Je m’attendais ensuite à recevoir un bagel comme j’avais commandé. Finalement j’ai pu manger en Burger car les bagels n’en sont finalement pas. Je ne l’ai pas fini, ce n’était pas ce que j’attendais.

À ce moment, on nous a très mal parlé : « bah si personne répond je pose ça là ! ». J’avais à ce moment la bouche pleine et n’ai pas eu une seconde pour réagir en recevant mon plat.

Si vous n’avez pas la patience ou la compréhension pour votre cette profession faites autre chose. Lorsque j’ai fait remarquer ceci au serveur, il s’est excusés à plusieurs reprises comme pour me dire de façon implicite : « ne me laissez pas de mauvais avis ».
