What a lovely dinner we had there, wanted to go for quite some time and it didn't disappoint for a bit. It's such a great location along the river. The team was very friendly and welcoming from reservation to finish. The food was classic but superb and were great portions too. Had to try a couple of there well priced glasses of wine, I wanted to have a small bottle unfortunately they did not have any however it gave me the opportunity to try different ones for probably the same amount I would have spent on it. We had dinner here last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful evening. We are staying across the road and the restaurant was highly recommended by Jonathon at our hotel. It was a very warm night and the ambiance, with the doors open and the veranda overlooking the river, was relaxed and really lovely. The restaurant was very busy and the staff didn’t stop all night but our waitress was lovely - friendly and patient with our attempts to speak French even though her English was excellent. GÉRANT MAL POLI & SERVICE NUL !

Malgré un cadre sympa et une cuisine correcte, nous ne recommandons pas ce restaurant à cause du service et de l’attitude du gérant : 45 min pour prendre une commande + 30 min pour préparer des boissons + 30 min pour servir des plats que vous n’aviez pas commandé et pour oublier la moitié ... Mais, il suffit seulement 1 min au gérant pour vous couper l’appétit avec son attitude désobligeante, au point de ne pas finir le repas et de ne jamais retourner dans ce restaurant !

En effet, ma famille et moi avions réservé une table en terrasse à 12h30. Après 45 min d’attente sous le soleil, la serveuse n’avait toujours pas présenté le menu, ni pris la commande, ni servi de l’eau. À 13h30, voyant que les tables à côté ont été servies (clients arrivés bien après), nous l’avions gentiment rappelé et demandé de servir les apéritifs en même temps que l’entrée. Chose faite mais en oubliant la moitié de la commande !

Ensuite, elle nous a donné des plats principaux, mais ceux de la table voisine ! On a été servi 15 min après eux mais la cuisson de nos viandes n’était pas respectée (magret bien cuit au lieu d’être saignant comme demandé, voir photo) Ayant déjà attendu longtemps, nous n’avions plus la patience de renvoyer nos plats en cuisine !

En débarrassant nos assiettes, le gérant nous a demandé si tout s’était bien passé et on a répondu avec un peu d’humour : « C’était bon mais long ... On comprend que vous soyez dans le jus mais on a beaucoup attendu » Sur quoi il a répondu avec agressivité : « On n’était pas du tout dans le jus et on est très organisée ... Si vous voulez écrire un mauvais avis sur TripAdvisor, allez-y ! »

Et c’est donc à sa demande que j’écris cet avis. Je me permets aussi de rappeler au gérant que la réputation d’un commerce se fait souvent par « bouche à oreilles » des locaux, pas uniquement sur Internet ou par les touristes des croisiéristes ! Ainsi, nous ne manquerons pas de partager cette mauvaise expérience à tous nos proches et partenaires professionnels du Grand...
