Le Comptoir du Vietnam — Restaurant in Libourne

What a lovely restaurant and a treat to find one that actually lives up to its 5* Google reputation. We started with fresh spring rolls (not fried) and they were delicious served with a typical sweet and umami dipping sauce. Next we had Vietnamese dim sum, which we were warned would take a little time, but they were worth the wait and we're so juicy and tasty I nearly ordered more, seriously before you order drinks order some pork and prawn dumplings (as many as you can afford) you will not regret it

For mains we had a selection of curries; spicy beef and basil, spicy chicken and lemon grass and a beautiful Vietnamese chicken curry. with two sides of rice and a side of fried noodles it was the perfect amount of food for 2 adultes and 2 hungry children. It was all very tasty and delicious, if a little mild for my taste.

Came to this restaurant during a long week end May 1st. 2023. Great restaurant and classic authentic ambiance Very friendly, courteous and attentive service. Food came out really delicious and generous portion. We were 6 people in our party all the food came out on time and well presented. We really appreciate the service by the Moroccan server (sorry I did not got your name) and definitely the sweet smiling female waitress. Thank you so much and will definitely come back...

Aujourd'hui c'est mon anniversaire ma maman m’offre un restaurant et nous voilà au comptoir du Vietnam..personnel très accueillant, chaleureux, souriant, agréable moment, une cuisine excellente ,raffiné on s’est régaler de l’entrée au dessert . De délicieux nems ,raviole aux crevettes frit déjà c’est une pépite ensuite canard laqué et crevette citronnelle thai pimenté accompagné de nouille sauté tous est excellent et on est pas encore au dessert. Voilà ce fameux dessert qui sur la carte donne très envie 2 nems à la banane tiède sur un coulis de chocolat et glace à la mangue sur lait de coco et riz gluant une association de goût parfaite une petite douceur pour terminer ce repas ..Et comme c'est mon anniversaire le dessert arrive avec sa bougie accompagné de la musique et le serveur me chante joyeux anniversaire avec un petit cadeau auquel je ne m’attendais pas du tout j'ai trouvé le geste très agréable..Merci à vous pour ce moment que je...
