Factory & Co — Restaurant in Lille

This place is unwelcoming and the food is not worth the money. The bacon was grey and I was told by the assistant this is supposed to be..I don't think any meat should be served grey and certainly not eaten if grey. Expensive bagel especially when inedible.

Staff were unwilling to help and left the offending bagel on the counter top for the rest of our duration there...were they looking to resell it?

There was no cutlery on offer at the self serve area so I asked for some which looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Pretty gross.

Coffee made from a button press machine even though, having read other reviews, they apparently have a proper espresso machine which I'm guessing those with an English/Scottish/American accent are not privileged enough to sample. The button press coffee was warmed milk with a hint of coffee flavour. Vending machine could've done better.

Advise anyone needing a proper coffee, nicer bagels,good service and free toilets to head up to Noya Bagel & Bar up above Hall 1. Wish we'd bothered to look around before settling for this mediocrity .

Also don't bother with a reply. It doesn't seem any other bad reviews have been taken on board and I doubt you're truly sorry about our bad experience...your staff...

Possibly the worst coffee I've had on this trip....if you could call it coffee. More like hot milk with a hint of flavour. Wouldn't really expect much else from a button vending machine but why charge hiked prices if it's not from an espresso machine.

I also ordered the bacon lover bagel. If you do love bacon I'd take your love elsewhere because this bacon has had a rough time of it. It was grey and very much unloved. Even the staff didn't want to take it back and left it on the counter for sometime after we sent it back. It could still be there...just waiting to be loved again.

Staff were unhelpful. Cutlery dirty. Coffee a joke. Bacon unloved. Atmosphere similar to a dementors convention.

Avoid this place and feel free to read the copy and pasted response from the owner after I post this. She...

Really terrible coffee and service! They thought because we are not French they could give us a cappuccino from the automatic machine that tasted horrible then when my gf went up to the counter to say it was disgusting and we wanted our money back, the two guys said you should have told us you wanted it fresh from the real machine. We both laughed and said what just give us our money back as they were trying to make us the cappuccino from the real machine then we insisted we just want our money back. I think they thought because we are tourists they could be lazy and give us disgusting coffee. Don’t go here if you aren’t French. Why would we WANT...
