Experiencing the craft beer scene and culture in Lille was definitely reminiscent of the craft beer scene in New Zealand.

This establishment definitely left a great impression with my trip. The beer was incredibly satisfying and smooth with lots of different beer options with the menu that is constantly changing.

If you want good beer that is made with love. Come to this place. The atmosphere is relaxing and easy-going.

From fantastic snacks, to the most beautiful beer - this has to be Lille's number 1 spot.

We visited in September, on night 1 and night 6 of our stay. On night 6, we dabbled with the Carolina Reaper Stout at 12%. It is easily the best thing that I have ever tasted. It is strong, so be careful, if you see it on your visit.

The staff are fun and friendly. The atmosphere is polite with a mix of nationalities. I met Brits, Aussies and of course, lots of lovely people from Lille.

The music playlist is perfect. From ambient beats, to indie music to lo-fi and IDM. It makes for quite the evening.

Food is available, including a beautiful Aubergine Caviar for us vegetarians. If I remember rightly, at only 6eur for a pot and bread.

This is the most comprehensive, most charming, no-nonsense craft beer bar in Lille. I have extensive knowledge about beer and was very appreciative of the suggestions and explanations the staff provided. The bar is focused on modern craft beer, don't expect your usual Belgian-obsessed menu there. Bottom line is that the staff is trained to help you choose your beer, and you should trust them blindly.
