La Dinette — Restaurant in Lille

We were looking for a place to take my 7-year-old son who was demanding a cheeseburger for dinner and La Dinette did not disappoint. The burgers were substantial and tasty (according to my wife and child) while I had the quiche of the day that was beautifully seasoned. I also had a glass of local beer which was recommended by the super-friendly waiter. He was really helpful and happy to chat. There was also a play area at the back that my son enjoyed. We decided to go there because of google map recommendations and Routard stickers on the window. They have an interesting choice or burgers and 70-80s style decor that we quite liked. However, it took us around 40 min to get our order and they got it wrong, well-done instead of rare etc. Took us approximately 5 min to get across the bun to the meat because the meat portion was ridiculously tiny. We came in for the brunch with a bunch of friends (MALE). We have been advised not take much on the buffet (open bar) because of our "size". Nobody's overweighted in the team. the waitress was indeed very unpleasant and unhapy to do her work on a Sunday morning. Burgers as good as if you cook then from home. for 24 EUR the brunch is not worth the money, especially when they tell you to "pay attention" on the portion.
