Went for lunch without prior booking (and a lot of hope) and got very lucky to get a table for a party of 2. Absolutely great experience, from the service to the atmosphere of the place: a 13th century convent, with a fire place in the Sacristy dating back from the 16th century where your meat is grilled. Price are frankly fair for the quality, super fresh and local ingredients, and cooked to the perfection. As a starter, we shared a place of local “Cèpes” (mushrooms) literally melting on our tongue. Then we moved on the main artifact: a 180gr heart of Limousine beef Rumsteak (for me) and Filet (for my companion). The junior waiters were smart and helpful. The older guy who seemed to be the head waiter, was pretentious and very off putting. I dine in restaurants all over the world many times a week. I do not need a lecture about how things are done or not done in your country. Restaurant service is about making the customer happy, not educating them on what you think is the correct way to...
