Le vin te 2 — Restaurant in Limoux

It's nicely located in the very center of the city and offers tables around the square with pleasant view on the fountain. The white wine from Limoux was great and served with ice in the bucket. Oisters served as a starter were also fine. However, our main dishes were good but not excellent: the duck was quite veined and pizza napolitaine was quite moderate. Other pizzas and lasagne were very good. Good wine prices starts at c. 20 euro per 75 cl and typical dinner is for c. 15-20 euro per person. We had no reservation and it was not so easy to get a table for five people. We had to wait c. 20-30 minutes to be served but after that the person who served us was very nice and helpful. Menu and all communication was only in French. If you don't speak French it's better to have Google...

Fantastic bar/bistro right in the town square. Owner/chef, and host team were extremely friendly and accommodating, on a chilly days they made room for us inside, which was clearly packed with locals who know about this gem! Food was sensational, Cassoulet Maison, Croque Monsieur (HUGE!) and the best frites in France! Overall a fantastic, friendly welcoming place with amazing people. Well...
