Restaurant Brasserie Le Tivoli — Restaurant in Limoux

Two of us had a dinner in Brasserie Le Tivoli the other night. The decor and ambiance are not the height of fashion. However, the waiter and other staff were very charming and the food was excellent. One of us had a large Magret de Canard which was cooked perfectly "a point" and served with a good portion of crispy chips. The other had Cassoulet which consisted of an extremely large and tender full leg and thigh of duck, two large tasty and very meaty sausages, and a generous portion of beans in a delicious gravy.

We were happy with our visit as were the very large family group with whom we shared the dining room.

If the decor were a bit more elegant, we would be happy to bring our many guests for traditional...

Habitant juste à côté, ce bar durant l’été propose des concerts une fois par semaine (et parfois en plein milieu de la semaine). L’idée est charmante et l’ambiance doit être bonne mais c’est vraiment pénible de devoir subir un volume sonore élevé (qui augmente au fur et à mesure de la soirée).

Il fait très très chaud dans les habitations, pouvoir ouvrir les fenêtres afin de se rafraîchir est un besoin en cette saison. Mais entendre constamment de la musique, c’est fatiguant. On ne peux pas discuter tranquillement avec des amis, manger calmement, se coucher tôt…

Je finis par vous écrire par accumulation d’agacement (là ça fait 2 soir de suite en plus). Pour rappeler que ce bar est en ville et à proximité d’humains qui vivent. Est-ce que le volume n’empêche pas les clients de discuter ? S’entendent-ils seulement parler ? Est-il possible de fermer les fenêtres qui donnent sur le rue des remparts pour épargner les habitants du centre ? (Par ce que ceux d’en face, c’est peine perdue)

J’espère que le/la propriétaire prendra en compte le message afin d’améliorer ce problème de...

Lively traditional French bar in Limoux. Great big roadside terrace and hanging out area. Inside lots of betting, lots of banter, and good cheer. Great service, friendly bar staff.
