Ok! This review is quite controversial. There are a few reasons why I feel so perplexed about this place. I travelled to India two times for quite extended periods of time. I have been to different states and ate out frequently. So, I shall share my point of view given my experience. Thé café is a really nice place. It’s clean thought it might not seem so from the first sight. However, don’t feel worried to drop in to it. Moreover, It was recommended to me by a few friends. Of course, the total ambience leaves much to be desired, but that’s how a typical cafe in India looks like. So, no worries. As for thé meal, I ordered palak panir which is my favourite Indian dish. It is a mix of cooked spinach and panir (Indian cheese). I was thinking ordering something else in addition, however, the waiter prevented me that they add some rice beside it. Thus I ended up with ordering just palak panir. Speed! They served the desk quite fast. The dish was quite substantial. I was very hungry so ate all that was on my plate. As for thé taste, I should say that the rice was well cooked as well as the rest. However, the main dish itself was not exactly what I tried in India. I could easily feel that it was a previously heated processed spinach. Seriously, I didn’t expect that quality of food in France. India impressed me more! No kidding. Overall, the dish was well cooked, not that much spicy! I enjoyed it, but if you search for something authentic it is not exactly the place to eat at. It is good, but! The price! I payed 12 euro for the meal which, taking into account the aforementioned, is quite expensive. Indeed, back in india you would pay much less and get much more - both quality and quantity. If I have not been to India maybe I would have written a different...
Read moreThe food itself was delicious! It took a little bit of time to order, as we got lost in translation and they didn’t have the dish I initially wanted, he also saw I had cash and so wouldn’t let me pay by card but that’s fine! The bathrooms were interesting and a bit out dated BUT the food was absolutely scrumptious!! I had the legume curry with pakora and it was so full...
Read moreThe entrees are very greasy and seem like they were sitting there all day already. I also had the chicken tandoori sandwich, it was ok.
The cashier is very rude, making fun of people. I was also charged more than it actually was. After asking why the cashier said because auf the fries. But I never ordered fries and never got them.
Had slight stomach aches. Not...
