Would love to start this of by saying the Eggs Benedict was delicious and the food and drink came very quickly. However, upon arrival we were asked if we had a reservation, we said no but we didn’t think we would need one as there was still empty tables and only 2 of us (the website said if it was for 2 people no reservation should be needed). After telling the waiter we didnt have a booking she turned us away and said that they were full. We walked out the door, booked a reservation on the website and walked back in about 2 minutes later. As we walked back in with our reservation the waiter gave us a look that we thought came across as quite rude but we were seated straight away and ordered within minutes. Whilst we were sitting enjoying our meal we watched as numerous other couples got turned away. We thought this was quite strange as you could still make reservations on their website and there was still numerous tables available. Definitely recommend to anyone planning on visiting this cafe to make a reservation on the website before entering, even if it doesnt seem needed. Overall the food was yummy and we would eat...
Read moreWe had a reservation, so we were seated and didn't have to wait in the queue, but I did see some people queueing over 30 minutes. However, it took a very long time for the waitress to come get our order and in the end, it took 50 minutes from when we were seated to get our food. Their espresso machine was also broken. The space inside is really big but they seem to not have enough staff to tackle the demand. The portions themselves were honestly kind of small compared to other brunch places in Lyon and I finished my pancakes in like 5 minutes and still felt hungry. My friend got the formula but wasn't given his fresh cheese granola until we asked for it. The table next to us noted to the waitress that some people's granola had way less cheese than others and even asked for a replacement. In the end, the food is decent but I wouldn't say it's worth the price or time and I don't think I...
Read moreIf you’re looking for the ultimate brunch spot, this place is a must! Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and crafted with creativity. We started with the sweet potato fries topped with feta — simply addictive and Greece styled!Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the salty feta perfectly balanced the natural sweetness of the potatoes.
The pancakes were a real surprise: fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with delicious toppings.
And of course, the eggs Benedict with salmon were absolutely outstanding! The hollandaise was smooth and velvety, the salmon fresh and perfectly cooked, and every bite was a burst of rich flavor.
The space is warm and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. An experience you’ll definitely want to repeat!
