It was okay. I may go back to give it another shot. I had the menu de jour tonight. The starter was jambon...not pictured and not worth a picture. Honestly, too much jambon and not enough condiments. I thought it was lack luster. The main was the chicken with mushrooms. That was quite good...although you could tell there was plenty of butter and salt. The dessert was some kind of chocolate and passion fruit...thing. I'm not sure what anyone was aiming for here. The passion fruit overpowered the dish; I couldn't taste any chocolate. The sesame chips didn't add a thing to the dish visually or taste wise...I was confused why they were there. It was also very tough to cut...

The food was nice and expensive. The main reason of giving one star for this restaurant is the staff. The server was absolutely rude. I was there with my mum, they treat us badly. If you are foreigner and dont speak French, dont expect to get a nice service from this restaurant. You are gonna wait a lot and they cant explain anything even you ask. After we finished the food, the server asked me if we are done so i answered we’ve finished. The guy turned to the back walking away, he was mimicking me in a funny way, ‘finished finished’. ...That was a really bad manner. I can see here are many reviews about the rude staff. Would you spend that amount of money and be treated like that? The...

Une fois installé et pour commencer, il a fallu 30 longues minutes aux serveurs pour enfin nous regarder, juste nous regarder... Nous étions clairement invisible, pourtant les 4 tables autour et arrivées après nous, ont passé commande à tour de role avant nous.

Après cette longue demie heure, la commande est enfin prise. 2 tartares, et en apéritif 1 coca et 1 bière pression blanche. Commande simple, et pourtant le sketch va continuer...

La serveuse viendra 5min après nous dire que la tireuse de la bière blanche à un problème et qu'il n'y aura que de la blonde... Ok ça arrive, va pour une bière blonde, mais on vera par la suite un client commander et recevoir une pression blanche.. Etrange. Les 2 boissons arriveront 10min plus tard, et en même temps que nos plats. A l'inverse de la prise de commande, l'appéritif fût bref, lui...

Le tartare, lui, est seul dans une grande assiette, la salade et les frites étant a part, ce qui le rend presque ridicule. Niveau goût, c'est ni bon ni mauvais, ennuyeux. Même la salade donnait l'impression d'être mal lavée, c'est dire... En revanche les frites sont très bonnes mais le bol est petit, très petit, on est encore une fois déçu...

Il est aussi bon de signaler que le pichet d'eau demandé à 2 reprises n'est jamais arrivé..

L' action la plus rapide venant d'une des serveuses arrivera au moment de nous débarasser. Tellement rapide qu'elle fera tomber les assiettes, à se demander si on était pas piègé par une caméra cachée.. !

Fin du "repas", et aucun geste du restaurant au moment de payer, à quasi 50€ la plaisanterie c'est limite..

En bref, un service qui n'est pas à la hauteur de l'image que l'établissement veut se donner. Ou peut-être que la tête du client y est pour quelque chose,...
