We were excited to come here based on the positive reviews and the menu offerings that seemed to vegetarian friendly. When we were greeted, it was a warm welcome and we felt optimistic. It was not busy and it looked like the service was fairly quick. We ordered a bottle of wine, two starters and our main courses. The wine came out quickly and then our starters were fairly quick to arrive. My husband had the arancini and I had the mozzarella sticks. His appetizer came with a nice truffle sauce. Mine came with nothing. They were simply dry fried mozzarella sticks. I had one and it was not bearable without something else. We waited over 15 minutes to try to get some attention of a server, which was difficult as they did not make eye contact. When I did ask for a marinara sauce or any type of Italian red sauce, they said they had mayonnaise or ketchup. We explained that we wanted more of a pasta sauce. After waiting another 5 to 10 minutes they did bring something out. We finished that fairly quickly at that point. We then sat and sat and sat, and no main courses came. It was over 45 minutes and then we finally decided that we needed to go. At first we requested that we be able to take it away and that even took too long so we ended up having to cancel our main courses as it was over an hour and a half...
Read moreTerrible experience that spoiled my impression about Lyon and the whole Sunday afternoon: i was informed i need to wait for my food for 30 min. However, after 50 min waiting i inquired when my food would be ready to figure out the order had never been communicated to the kitchen. Strongly advise against visiting this place unless you are ready to wait for uncertain time with no guarantee the food will be ever ready. I had to leave cause they said i will need to wait other 30 min, no...
