Boston Tavern — Restaurant in Lyon

I've been here a few times for drinks and decided to come in for food last night.

Bartender was quite unwelcoming and seemed bothered when we came in, seemed like he just wanted to finish and go home.

We were advised to sit outside so he'd come and take our order. We scanned the menu and made up our minds. After wating for 15 minutes and being one of only two tables sat, guy comes in, says the menu we scanned is not available and hands away the new ones (not a big deal, I guess we can start off with some beers while choosing what to order... Well, not really).

When ordering beers while making up our mind, the highly unfriendly guy just left the table and went to the back as if we weren't there.

Not like we cared, there are many other places next door to choose from but feel bad for anyone coming in for a quick bite.

I understand you don't like your job, but don't let customers know how much...

Extremely disappointed and infuriated. We had to struggle to get the attention of the staff, waiting for a whopping 15 minutes just to be noticed. After finally placing our order, it took over 10 minutes just to get our drinks. Then, we endured an hour-long wait for our food. When we dared to inquire about the delay, we were met with snippy replies like "it's coming" without any indication of when. Meanwhile, other guests who arrived later were served much quicker, both in terms of drinks and food.

The food arrived cold and was far from appetizing. The supposed "Bacon Burger" unmistakably had ham slices instead of bacon. It's a complete letdown. We're deeply disappointed, especially considering the restaurant supposedly had decent reviews. This review is for Boston Trattoria. I cannot guarantee the safety of food prepared in this bar. The waiters talk over your food before serving which is highly unhygienic. As for the bar you can see a rat dancing freely in the restaurant/bar. Pest control is needed urgently before it gets out of hands. People are drinking and eating outside without knowing what’s happening inside. I sat inside and I must say, i was very disappointed.

Whoever that is in charge of this business needs to reorient his waiters and control these rats before...
