Brasserie Lyon Plage — Restaurant in Lyon

Not one to spend time to write reviews unless I excessively enjoyed a place or, in this case I did not / got sick.

I have lived in Lyon plage, right next to Hotel Lyon Metropole for 25 years and therefore I have seen / experienced the highs and lows of the hotel, sports club and restaurant, but this is the first time I and my guest got sick following a visit!

My friend and I both got steaks tartare and both got sick - him in the evening following the lunch and I this morning (luckily for me as I was flying home yesterday...). What is disappointing is that the steak is overpriced at 22€ or at least 4 to 5€ above what you would find in the city centre and that would not five you Delhi belly. What is even more annoying is that I did hear some poor feedback from friends and I guess we should have listen to it.

I invite the staff for a response as I feel it is fair but you must mend your ways if you want to pretend you are a restaurant to a 4* hotel! If I was still in Lyon, I would actually have asked for a refund or for you to invite us both to make it up but this is not the case so I hope to receive a...

A very nice dining experience, especially if you’re staying at the hotel. We tried the three-course menu offered as part of the hotel package, and it was a great choice. The food was good throughout — tender meat, well-prepared appetizers, and an impeccable dessert. The setting is pleasant, especially by the pool, and the service was smooth. Lors de ma dernière visite, j'ai été séduit par la qualité de la cuisine. Les plats, préparés avec des produits frais et de saison, étaient un véritable régal pour les papilles. J'ai particulièrement apprécié la justesse des cuissons et l'harmonie des saveurs.

Le service était impeccable : attentionné, efficace et discret. Les serveurs ont été aux petits soins et ont su répondre à toutes mes demandes avec le sourire.

L'ambiance générale de la Brasserie Lyon Plage est à la fois chic et décontractée. On s'y sent à l'aise, que l'on soit en tenue de ville ou en tenue plus décontractée. La terrasse, avec sa vue imprenable sur la piscine, est l'endroit idéal pour profiter des beaux jours.
