Café du 4ème — Restaurant in Lyon

A nice cafe just outside the tourist area. We had lunch here at an outside table two times during our holiday in Lyon. The food was very good and the service helpful and friendly. Our waitress was patient and helped us to translate the menu. I should add there was only one waitress so she can be busy but she still took the time to help us. I ordered the quenelle with rice and salad which was really good. My wife had a beef dish but I can't recall the name which was also good. Desserts were light raspberry cheesecake and a cream brûlée. Semaine du 24 juillet Accueil froid : nous somme 3 adultes. c est midi, nous avons réservé mais l impression de déranger. Pas un sourire, pas de politesse, la carte est est donné sans explication. Du genre"faites vite".

Le "Patron" sans cesse sur la serveuse : "Fais ceci... fais cela..." "Je veux que tu nettoie cette table et cette table.... donne moi les commandes de cet table et celle là..."

C'était notre pause déjeuner avant de retourner travailler. Donc après avoir attendu ....et attendu, plus le temps pour un dessert ni un café !

Seul positif : la cuisine est bonne Mais pas le coeur a mangé dans cette ambiance.
