FRAZARIN — Restaurant in Lyon

Superb in every respect, from the very friendly welcome and explanation of the restaurant and the menu, very tolerant of our inadequate French, we felt more than comfortable in this wonderful bistro. Marvellous characteristics of every dish were the extremely clever balance of flavours, which saw the primary ingredients stand out, perfectly complemented by extremely clever and subtle accompanying flavours.

We were particularly glad we opted for Frazarin’s wine matching, which showed great knowledge of the wines and delivered us a selection of perfectly matched wines for each dish.

If you want to visit a modern and very pleasant bouchon in Lyon, you've come to the right place. We had already been able to book very easily by email days before. A confirmation came very quickly. Possibly the best restaurant experience we have had. The very dedicated 5min sit down run through of the menu and dietary requirements was special. The tips of bars to visit afterwards, great. The banter and good vibes they must maintain night after night... Phenomenal. Honestly speaks to them being passionate owners who love what they do.

The food was remarkable especially the cold tomato soup. Just something special with the mustard ice cream.
