We ordered biryani and chicken curray. At first when the biryani came it was without salt and nuts as mentioned in the menu we specifically asked if you can make it a little spicy but the chicken was just like its boiled straight out of water. When we asked the server about it that where are the nuts and it does not even have salt let alone spice he took it and then the other person came that why did you not like it, if you dont like it why did you order it he was absolutely rude and ill mannered. Here is to say that we ordered it after discussing with them and clearly told them what we want. Then the biryani came with red colour as of food colour only but still no salt nothing and without nust then we asked they put crushed almonds. Then we ordered naan to compensate the chicken curry which was horrible and they bought us cheese naan which we didn't even order. All when this was happening they were talking in hindi disrespecting and making fun of us that we are complaining and mocking our nationality. All of this was disrespectful they even called us "pagal" which means crazy person. They were being racist and not accepting their carelessness in parallel also saying the chef is not here it us who are cooking and labelling this is how its made in our restaurant. Horrible and pathetic service. Servers are also visible in the pic. The one with hand on face was very...
Read moreNOT AUTHENTIC as advertised. An absolute disgrace to Indian cuisine. Was craving Indian food here on a trip in Lyon. Was so disappointed after receiving my uber eats order from this restaurant. We got the mango chicken curry and the butter chicken with rice and cheese naan. The butter chicken was an abnormal pink color (see photo). Not sure if they use food colouring or they just added so much cream that it isn’t a rich red curry color anymore?? Tasted so sweet and creamy, had virtually no typical Indian spice flavor. I felt guilty throwing it away but it was awful. The cheese naan also had no spice just filled with a creamy cheese. The mango chicken a bit better but not sure how they could go wrong with this dish as it is meant to be creamy and sweeter anyways. Lastly, the rice had an off taste, I could barely finish my meal. As an Indian restaurant, not sure how they can mess up our STAPLE food. Dear restaurant, please do better, as this is NOT authentic and was quite upsetting to experience my cultural food being made completely...
Read moreWorst Lassi and Pakora I’ve Ever Had!
This was, without a doubt, the worst lassi and pakora I have ever tasted. The flavors were bland, the texture was off, and the overall quality was just terrible. To make matters worse, the owner was incredibly arrogant. When I asked what the best dish in the restaurant was, he smugly responded, “Everything is good because it’s my restaurant.” Seriously? Are you the so-called chef of the world?
The attitude was just as bad as the food. Instead of taking feedback or recommending something genuinely good, the owner dismissed my question with arrogance. If this is what he considers “good food,” I’d suggest he go back and get an honest opinion from people who actually know what proper Indian cuisine should taste like.
If you value good food and good service, do yourself a favor and...
