I visited this restaurant recently, and their daily menu had a wide range of options: beef, chicken, cod fish, and vegetarian ravioli. I was eyeing the chicken skewers after seeing them on someone else’s table, but just as I was about to order, they told me they were out of chicken. A bit disappointing, but the waiter really made up for it by being incredibly helpful. He patiently explained all the sauces and ingredients in detail, which was a nice touch.
In the end, I went for the steak, and I’m glad I did(considering the price). The portion was big, and it tasted great, but I have to say, the presentation could’ve been better. It didn’t quite match the flavor. On the bright side, my food came out super fast, and the wine recommendation was perfectly complementing the meal.
What really stood out to me, though, was the staff. Even though the place was packed, they were all calm, polite, and smiling the entire time. It’s rare to see such cheerful service in a busy restaurant, and it made the whole experience more enjoyable.

If you like to gamble you can try them out, but there are plenty of options nearby. Also looks like the owner himself read me a lecture when I simply commented that kitchen overdone the steak. I almost never write the bad review but the whole experience left me no choice. The story even get funnier that now owner accusing me trying to get a free meal when I just trying to politely tell that my steak was sub-par. Never asked to take it from the check. So instead of simply acknowledge the fact and apologize for mishap he went on offensive forcing me to write that review....
Read moreWe decided to try this place, which was just next to our hotel -but oddly not mentioned by the hotel staff?
We had three dishes, all local dishes from Lyon. Two starters and one main course and they all tasted pretty good. Not the wildest gourmet experience but pretty decent.
To the food we had two bottles of red wine -well above standard.
The best part of our visit was probably Max, our waiter. That man had the best jokes, the biggest smile and a very attentive service. If not for the food then go to have a chat with max.
Our total check was not more than 69€ which is pretty cheap considering the location, the amount of wine and food we had.
My best recommendations...
