L'acquolina — Restaurant in Lyon

We were 7x people, of which 4x vegetarian, arriving at Lyon Part-Dieu Gare on the Intercity train from our 5x days walking in the Masif Central. We googled for an Italian restaurant with the most stars closest to the station and then booked online. So happy we did!! Fantastic food, and despite not much vegetarian on the advertised menu, they friendly staff adapted readily and the kitchen turned out some amazing pasta dishes for us. €40/head with a couple of bottles of wine and great deserts, we left happy and with plenty of time to get the Rhône Express out to the airport in time for our flights back to...

Nous sommes allées manger à L’Acquolina vendredi dernier avec cinq amies et nous avons passé une soirée formidable dans un cadre magique. La nourriture est vraiment excellente (y compris pour les personnes végétariennes qui sont reçues à bras ouverts), le décor au milieu d’un champ d’olivier est splendide et le service est rapide, chaleureux et très agréable.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivées au restaurant, une grande tablée a eu un comportement plus que révoltant envers le personnel, l’insultant et l’humiliant devant nos yeux attérés. Le groupe est parti en promettant de « détruire le restaurant » et ils ont d’ailleurs écrit plusieurs commentaires particulièrement mensongers et diffamatoires sur ce qui s’est produit durant la soirée. Toute la terrasse et le personnel étaient choqués après leur départ, mais les serveurs et serveuses ont repris leurs esprits avec un professionnalisme remarquable et nous ont servi rapidement et chaleureusement. Nous leur apportons tout notre soutien face aux commentaires désobligeants que nous lisons et les remercions pour cette soirée magnifique.

Great Italian restaurant. The waiter is really nice and full of advices. The food is really really great. Lot of flavours and the quantity are quite nice.
