I found the food here to be of varying quality...not sure the Bib Gourmand is well deserved based on what I had. The main of lamb (both leg and shoulder) with lentils and pumpkin was very good, although the jus was a bit overseasoned. I had cheese for dessert, and they gave a selection of four very good cheeses. But the starter seemed poorly conceived and had no strong flavours: goat cheese cannelloni with pistachio sauce and mustard ice cream. The cannelloni was curiously tepid, and it did not help having the element of the ice cream on there as well. The mustard ice cream had very little mustard flavour and added almost nothing, the pistachio element was difficult to notice. The amuse bouche was a nice touch but were all under seasoned. The service was friendly but I have to say, stuck in the corner as I was, a solo diner, I did feel ignored at times. After I had finished my main, I sat with my empty plate in front of me for over 10 minutes. The waiters did not approach my table at all during that time, not to offer water or to clear anything. I was in there for over 1.5 hours, longer than many tables of two or four who arrived after me but left before. A final note: they didn't have a list of wines by the glass, which I found strange (this has never been the case in any other restaurant I have visited in France). It was an OK experience but I wouldn't return or recommend.

What a find! While I’m sure locals are familiar with this lovely spot, we were thrilled to stumble in here on our first evening in Lyon. The staff was gracious and found us a table despite the late hour and no reservation. We were astounded by the delicious, elegant, creative dishes we enjoyed. Quite honestly, nothing else we tasted during our visit quite measured up to it. So it was also the place of our final meal in Lyon (until our next visit).

This is some top notch food for the price you pay! Such interesting dishes on the menu. I high recommend the snails, the pigeon, the sweet potato dish (for sweet potato fans) and the dill mousse dessert. Definitely steer clear of the pear dessert - it had potential but was not good. Also don’t use the hand soap they have. The smell stays on your hands so strong and interferes with the taste of your food.

How can I say this. I seldom use the word "perfect" in a review. However the experience I have had in this restaurant is nothing short of it. For the price (EUR 32, - without drinks) the quality is simply insane. It might come from the fact they do have a single menu with two choices per plate, as far as purchasing goes. The cooking is masterfully done. The drinks are a bit on the expensive side, however there are qualitative cheaper options. All in all, I have two things to...
