Food was very interesting with the use of different ingredients that are not commonly used - curry in French dish, chilli and basil in dessert, etc.

Trout was exceptional. Lightly crisp on the outside yet the flesh remains tender and flavourful. Flavours are well balanced to not cover the original taste of the fish itself.

Pork maindish was very good as well. The cut, flavour, texture is almost on par with one of the best katsu back in Kyoto.

Dessert was interesting but I was not too big a fan of creative desserts like this. I prefer my desserts traditional and sweet.

The chef is very passionate and even took the time to have a face to face conversation with all of his guests.

Overall great value given the amount of thought and care that’s put into the dishes for the...

Le Poivron Bleu - excellent Reserved 7:45pm via Google! Received a call about card machine failure thus cash only - good service server was very helpful and translated the French menu on the big chalk board which changed every day appetizers - both have excellent flavor and presentation; everything blended in so well main dish - Rabbit Loin - meat is vey tender and delicious, goes very well with pumpkin mash and the sauce main dish - Fish Filet is very fresh and juicy, lentil is more cooked than those in appetizers, topped with fresh crunchy vegetables. Set Menu 39€ - everything is delightful and delicious! Every dish is a piece of culinary art! Just like all other customers, we used bread to clean out the...

A gastronomical experience! Hidden gem in Lyon's Brotteaux district. The menu is prix-fixe serving only one seating at both lunch and dinner. The menu is changed daily based on fresh seasonal ingredients. The chef clearly puts a lot of thought and love into each dish. For example, my favourite dish today was the pork filet mignon which was smoked for over 1 week. I never knew that pork could be both savoury, sweet and fresh; it completely melted in my mouth with each bite! The staff was very friendly. The waiter was bilingual and took care to explain each dish to us in English. The manager came out to make sure we were satisfied (we very much were!).

Thank you very much for the...
