We had a wonderful dinner here. Great suggestions for a children’s menu. The mezze platter was fresh and delicious. I haven’t had a few things (like zaalouk) so good since we were at the Four Seasons in Casablanca. Excellent chicken/citron confit/olive tajine. When I asked my 4 yo which food she liked best out of her plate of lamb, chicken, couscous or fries she said « All of it. Make it at home for me tomorrow Mama. Everything! » 🫣

Someone else said they don’t speak English but the gentleman who helped us spoke English. The menu we were given was in French and English. And to mention who cares if they speak English or not - (as it is France and all) bring your phone and use google translate if you need to - otherwise just point at the (English) menu and order 🤷‍♀️. Very good and authentic north african food, where maghreb, arab, berber and hebrew food comes into one place. The food is exceptional quality, fait maison, prepared and served in generous portions. The menu is simple and contains food for everytast and nice vegetarian options. The main courses like tagines come with couscous and they're very aromatic. The mint tea is amazing, and the deserts are also very interest. Look out for the out-of-the-menu season items - ask and you'll be please with surprises. My favorite restaurant in Lyon, I come every week. Delicious authentic food, generous portions, reasonably priced, freshly made. Great meat, veggie options, and desert- better corne de gazelles then I can find in Guillotiere.The service is great, Ahmed and his team make you feel right at home, so friendly and quick.
