While visiting Lyon, what better souvenir to bring home than a haute couture style silk scarves? I stumbled upon this lovely shop while husband was shopping for wine next door. The color of the silk is what caught my eyes first. The mixture of two colors add interest and ever changing shades depending on the lighting. I also like the simple and non-fussy gathering system, that gives shapes and style easily without the need of a manual or know how to use. Catherine is super patient and helpful in suggesting color for my mom and I to try, and show us different styles of scarves to help us make purchase decisions. We both walked out with a souvenir from Lyon that will last us a lifetime, and every time, we use it, we will think of Lyon and CathAm. This tiny shop in the Vieux Lyon will take your breath away. It is held by a husband and wife team who specialise in the design of silk (on the production of which Lyon’s wealth is historically based) scarves and other accessories. They give their products life by sourcing the most extraordinary materials, including two-thread raw silks that have outstandingly beautiful, bright and reflective shades.
