Anglais == This is ... hands down ... the absolute best falafel joint in Lyon ... I have been looking for the REAL DEAL original falafel restaurant for four years since I moved to France... I have finally found it... The taste brought back so many happy memories that I literally cried because it made me so happy ❤️️! Thank you again and you now have a very happy loyal customer and a walking talking advertisement ❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️

My first dinner in Lyon (I was here for the Olympics) and perhaps because it was summer a lot of restaurants close early or maybe were just closed for the summer holiday. Anyway, I'm glad that this spot wasn't closed as I had a very delicious (and reasonably priced) falafel salad and bread and dips (babaganoush and hummus). I was very hungry as I didn't have lunch on this day but I was absolutely full and possibly only needed the salad. I was ordering with my stomach rather than my brain! The babaganoush was very tasty but think the hummus may have already expired as it didn't taste quite right. Other than this, great location (as it was just across the road from my hotel) and the staff member was very kind and helpful in terms of answering my questions. I'd eat here...

Just discovered another gem in Lyon and very vegetarian/vegan friendly; Original Falafel. I ordered the falafel salad which came with 6 falafels and a huge salad with a very tasty taratour based dressing. I also had a hummus with pita bread, and a coke zero all for 12.50 euros. The owner treated me to a baba ghanouj which was creamy, delicious, and just perfect. Everything was seasoned and prepared on point. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and you can order out, eat in, or order delivery through uber eats or one of the other companies. Overall, will definitely come back to try the french fries and the garlic sauce (toum), which is my favorite, (only non vegan item on...
