Bistrot Chez Toto — Restaurant in Marseille

An absolute amazing experience, place, and chef. Cannot say enough about the food/ dinner and night we had at Toto’s. I have never written a review on anything before so I believe that speaks volumes on how much we loved this restaurant.

Chef Toto is amazing, translated the menu for us and made us feel welcomed and right at home in the perfect ambience for a local restaurant.

Feel honored to have found such a gem in Marseille in its first few days before it most certainly gets popular and receives the praises it rightfully deserves.

Over the course of a 3 week trip to France, lunch at Bistrot Chez Toto was probably the best meal I had. Very quaint with charming decor. The day I was there it appeared to be almost filled with regular guests, based on the host’s greetings with many of the other diners.

Friendly and helpful staff, courteous and warm service. The restaurant was almost completely full and yet the service was relaxed and as efficient as it needed to be.

The mushroom soup (not pictured) was amazing. The pear poached in red wine with chocolate was heavenly.

We reserved for our last night in Marseille at Toto’s place and it was the best way to end our stay. The food was amazing, very Paris-like which is nice to find in Marseille, the atmosphere that Toto creates is high and fun, he is caring and puts the guests in a better mood. The service was perfect and also the price is correct. I highly recommend it, not only for the food but also for Toto and the overall experience. Thank you so much Toto!...
