Soooo disappointing!!! I can’t figure out how they manage a 4.4 average…maybe a few free shots in exchange for good words?
I will give the positive first since it’s brief…the sea bream, baked Brie and the rose were decent. But it takes a very special person to mess up Brie and wine when they do all the work tor you right?
The negatives…first of all, the reason we “chose” this place is due to our own stupidity in not reserving on a Saturday night. (Learn from our mistake!) We decided on this because of the mussels. After we’d ordered a bottle wine and the cheese as a starter, we placed our order…”sorry no mussels tonight” 🙄 if we didn’t have the wine, we’d have left. The steak was tougher than my 97yr old grandfather and totally unseasoned. The salad with the fish was so sad looking I felt like it needed medication. The bread was old (in France that should be punishable!) We had to ask twice for water. Our starter was given to the table next to us.
All of this joy for a casual 100€ + a world of regrets for wasting a precious vacation meal here. (No photos shows just how disappointing the whole...
Read moreWe took a seat, ordered a starter, and asked for a bottle of wine. While they were opening the wine, we ordered our food—mussels and sea bream. Unfortunately, they were out of mussels (which they could have mentioned before opening the wine). Fine, we ordered the fish and a steak instead.
The salad came as a side dish, and it looked like the saddest salad on earth—just a handful of lettuce. The rice that came with the fish was okay-ishhhh. As for the steak, it was so tough that chewing it felt like a punishment; in fact, it could have been used as a weapon against your worst enemy. But after realizing how powerful that weapon was, you might even feel compassion for them—and then it would hit you: you could have prevented this horrible tragedy by never stepping foot...
Read moreWe wanted to eat moules frites (€19), sat down and ordered them. 10 minutes later we were told that there were no more mussels, whereupon I ordered a burger (€24). Unfortunately, it was far too simple for the price and I cannot recommend it. We also had fresh prawns (14€) which were delicious and a Caesar salad, which unfortunately, like the burger, was not convincing. We also had a drink, which was quite tasty.
Burger: 4/10 Caesar salad: 3/10 Drink: 7/10 Fresh prawns: 8/10 Paid a total of 72€
The waiters were young and friendly. Overall i WOULDN'T recommend the restaurant because it's way too pricy for this...
