Went to this restaurant for lunch on 11 of November and 12 of November. During my stay in Marseille I went to a few of the restaurants suggested by the Michelin Guide and this...this was it. It was the only one that I went to more than once. The entrance is a bit hidden away as it takes the form of a small patio shared with another business. Inside the actual restaurant you will find a cozy place, the chairs are relatively comfortable, it has plenty of natural light, and some plants too. It's the kind of setting that you can go for a date or just to have a nice meal with family and friends. They have a beautiful shelf full of wine bottles and their glasses have the restaurants logo on them. The cutlery is nothing out of the ordinary but the knives are quite sharp and made quick work of the ribeye (which was very flavourful and good sized) that I had on the first day. You can order any of the dishes and you'll get plenty of flavour and colours. If they have the lemon pie as desert of the day be sure to order that as it was particularly good. On the first day I had a starter, main course, dessert, bottle of water, glass of white, and glass of red and the bill was only 37€! The next day I returned and they were very busy, they had some large tables sited which always makes the service slower but it was worth the wait. This time I went for just a main course, a desert, and some water...20€! How can food this good be this cheap? The service is also pretty nice. Special mention to Djemai and his sister (sorry I didn't get her name) who were very friendly and spoke good english. My only regret is not going there for dinner to try their different...
Read moreI'll give 2 Stars because the staff floor did a good job even if they were evidently understaffed... about the food is a completely different story: in a very short menu like the one you'll find here, ones expect a precise execution...which was - if I put it politely and generously - lousy . The pasta dish: the dough had the consistency of a gelatine, they serve it in a flat plate and , considering the "soup like" dish was a pretty basic mistake. Palourde were a soup mixed with a such amount of sand that I really believe you can actually make a small brick out of it.The veal was beef, overcooked , though and very bad executed .. being generous, I'll define that dish made by a bored cook. Chicken was - at least- not overcooked but the preparation was approssimative : mushy skin and a total absence of basic butchering skills. We decided to play along and ordered some cheese, which was good , at the right temperature but totally overpriced. Positive note was the sourdough bread . I would like to justify this experience as a "bad day of the...

Taste buds exited from start to finish. The menu presents some smart and free interpretations of classic Mediterranean dishes.
The sharing plates style menu is well calibrated as all plates offer equal level of love in therms of portions. Obviously sea food is fire but the vegetarian dishes have an attention that deserves a tip of the hat, that beetroot carpaccio is now my new standard.
Cool playlist and cool staff, they know their wines so just ask they have a really Davy selection.
Thanks is...
