My wife and I really wanted to like this place. The first dish my wife ordered came out with what looked like Elmer's Glue on it. It didn't taste any better.

The second dish my wife tried was the buccatini with clams. The noodles weren't buccatini and they weren't cooked properly either. They were hard in the center and about 2 minutes from being considered al dente. Multiple clams had sand in them and that sand got into the pasta sauce.

An Italian place that can't cook pasta... Mind-blowing.

My artichoke pasta was good, but the desserts were ok. The bread served with the meal was stale. The person who served us also made unnecessary comments about how a dish we ordered was too big for two people.

Had to ask multiple times for the bill at the end as they walked around ignoring us. We finally got the bill after waiting for 20 minutes and then they never came back for credit card payment. We had to leave the last of our cash so we could leave since they apparently didn't want us to pay.

We paid 90 Euros for a small cheese platter, stale bread, pasta with glue on it (switched it with undercooked not buccatini pasta with sandy clams), ok artichoke pasta, an ok cannoli with soggy pistachios, bad "homemade" tiramisu, and water to drink. Definitely...

Simply put: Emilio gave us a meal we’ll all remember. He was a very gracious and engaging host who had great stories and jokes. The meal itself was out of this world.

We ordered appetizers of baratta cheese (which was an amazing flavor) and eggplant parmigiana where the flavors were layered in a way the made you chew slow to enjoy them all. The various ravioli was outstanding (1 ordered eggplant, 1 mushroom, 1 goat cheese) and we also shared in a dessert plate that had various selections of desserts from different areas of Italy.

The appetizers were easily our favorite part of the meal with the many flavors and the desserts shared a great combination of textures and flavors - I’d highly recommend taking this tour of taste to share...

Eating at Emilio was an experience I’ll never forget. From the starters to the mains to the desert, everything was unbelievably good. In the starter platter, the aubergine and burrata were to die for. In the mains, my partner and I shared this gorgeous seafood platter. The octopus in the platter was hands down the softest, most perfectly cooked octopus we’ve ever had. So was the rest of the seafood. And the sauce it was cooked in was also delicious. My friend ordered a seafood pasta which she said is the best seafood pasta she’s ever had. Really wanna go there again. Definitely in my top 5 restaurants in the world. The owner is also such a gem. He’s super fun to converse with and gave us the best good suggestions.
