When it comes to Syrian or Lebanese cuisine, I am picky about it. This place is one of the best in all of Marseille, if you want to eat some healthy and authentic Syrian cuisine. The hummus, the baba ganoush and the laban were so good, so tasty. The falafel was one of the BEST that I have ever tried in all of France. The fattoush salad was delicious and tasty. This is a mouthwatering experience. And please, don't hesitate to try the dessert. If available, try "Layali Shams" (Damascus Night): you won't regret it. Abdullah made me feel like home, he is a wonderful person and I would definitely go back to have dinner at his place. Do you want to eat some healthy food at an excellent restaurant? Le Levant is the place for you! If you try it, you'll get addicted to it. Thank you so much for making good authentic plates and with your warm welcome. Keep it up!

went there on two different nights and the food was absolutely incredible. seasoning was on point, falafel was super airy and fluffy. the salad had this vinaigrette that was super tasty. I believe it was just a balsamic glaze/reduction but it's just done very well. the babaganoush (they called it something else), labneh, and hummus were so flavorful. The Syrian bread with the tomato sauce/paste was fantastic as well. the paste was sweet, savory, and smokey. I would say the only thing that wasn't amazing was the grilled kofte which is why I didn't get it the second night, but I'm not even going to take a star away because everything else on the plate more than compensated for it.

Last week I had three wonderful meals at Le Levant. In preparation for a quick trip to Marseille I researched places to eat not far from my lodging (which was on Rue Lafayette) and found this restaurant. In previewing the menu I thought I would at least need to eat here twice. Well, I stayed in Marseille for three nights and ended up having dinner here every night - it was that good! I had the Assiette Moussaka Syrienne and the Levantine Falafel - both were delicious. The service here was great. My server was very helpful and took really good care of me. Merci beaucoup!!!
