I have never written a review before, but after eating a meal in GOLDA, I couldn’t resist myself from writing one🥹💖 We were 2 people with big luggages on our way to the hotel nearby, but then we were hungry and tired so decided to go into GOLDA which seemed to have a very nice atmosphere. I asked the waitress lady if we could sit inside, and despite the big luggages, she told us to choose wherever we would like to sit. (Thankfully we were able to sit without disturbing other customers!) We couldn’t speak French, but the lady described the dishes in English and even apologized for not having a English menu😭 (She didn’t had to apologize, because it’s totally understandable that they don’t have it since their menu changes everyday!) Last night, in a different restaurant, we got treated very unfairly. So for us, finding GOLDA was the best thing happened after that unpleasant incident! We ordered a fish meal, vegetarian meal, dessert, and espresso. Everything was beyond our expectations. The presentation was great. But the best part was the taste. They were the best food we’ve eaten in our Europe trip. Our bodies were little tired of eating European food, since we normally eat Asian food in daily basis. But the food in GOLDA was too good, healthy, and unique that I think I could eat them all the time. The ingredients were so fresh and well prepared. The textures, colors, temperatures, strength of flavors…everything was perfect. I could taste each of the different flavors delicately put into a dish. The beet ketchup was soooo good that I wanted to buy a big jar of it for my souvenir😂 But seriously, I could feel the respect and passion of the team towards the dishes they serve. The quality of their food was immeasurably high, but also it made me feel at home. Every bite of their food was delicious. I kept thinking “why does the food’s taste get better each bite?” My mind was blown. The whole restaurant was clean and decorated very pretty and cozy. I want to take all my best friends and family to this place. This place is a gem. I AM SO SAD THAT WE COULD NOT RETURN TO GOLDA FOR DINNER BECAUSE OF OUR SCHEDULE😭😭😭 I literally cannot sleep and ended up writing this review because of it😭😂 I am VERY jealous of people living in Marseille because they get to come here whenever they want… I would visit Marseille again just to eat in here everyday😂💗 Thank you so much for the fantastic experience. You guys are...
Read moreGolda in Marseille is a must visit if you are in the city. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, setting the perfect stage for an exceptional meal. We tried the tuna, veal, and sardines, and each dish was outstanding in its own way. The tuna was tender and perfectly seasoned, while the veal was incredibly flavorful, cooked to perfection with a wonderful balance of textures. The sardines were a highlight—fresh, delicately prepared, and bursting with taste.
The service at Golda was impeccable, with staff who were attentive and genuinely passionate about the dishes they were serving. They made thoughtful recommendations and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the entire meal. The wine selection was impressive, with options that paired beautifully with the food, enhancing the overall experience.
