Lily Marseille — Restaurant in Marseille

I rarely give out advices as bad as this one. I had here one of the worst experiences in Marseille ever.

Our group jumped from 10 to 20 people, reservation was duly changed well in advance. Instead of telling us that there wasn't enough place, everyone was welcomed, which meant being squeezed to each other in a corner with no place to sit (uncomfortable to share tapas!). Advice: either refuse to enlarge a group or provide sufficient place - that's a strict minimum.

Not a great value for money. Charging 40€ for 4 small tapas and wine it's abusive. The tapas are very good, but they don't deserve being so expensive. Advice: consider if you ever want your clients to come back. When the hype will be gone, this place will be deserted with such mindset.

Shocked that at the end of the evening we had to pay 4 more shares, even if everyone at the table already duly paid... The staff was friendly, but clearly aiming at collecting as much money as possible.

Impossible to hear a proper conversation even at less than 1 meter away - the music was too loud already from the beginning of the evening. It got even worse at 10 pm, when the bar turned into a kind of a night club.

Personal note: no beers. Not that I wanted one, but for a place called "bar", an alcoholic beer is the minimum expected on the menu.

Absolutely love Lily! The service here is exceptional – the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The cocktail menu is fantastic, with a great selection of unique wines & drinks. Located right in the heart of the 7th arrondissement of Marseille, the location is perfect for meeting up with friends at the end of the day or enjoying a nightcap. The bar has a high-end feel but remains accessible, making it a go-to spot for anyone looking for a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere. They also host occasional parties towards the end of the week, adding a lively touch to the experience....
