LOCHNESS — Restaurant in Marseille

I was fortunate enough to find this bar at random for a Scotland v France Rugby game and it was terrific. The staff were all friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The other customers were all lovely too and we all enjoyed the banter during the game. A wide and interesting selection of beers but no food available, although there are plenty of places to get food nearby and the owner was happy for us to bring something in.

If I could improve one thing, it would be to change their lamentable whisky selection. The only Scottish Whisky I could see (in a Scottish theme bar) was a low level blend. There were some inferior whiskeys (with an 'e', Whisky drinkers will know what this means) and some good bourbons.

Overall, this in no way impacted what was a very enjoyable visit to a welcoming and vibrant establishment.

I would recommend this pub to anyone visiting this...

Today I came to this bar with my friends, we saw online it seemed nice No respected the covid restrictions inside first. The first entering was my friend and his girlfriend, no problem. Just after there was me and my other friend, the dude told us it's with reservation 😂 we told him we are with the couple that just passed before us. He told us you can go. Sadly were in 2022 and with the covid pandemic and all the loses but their doing...

Small/narrow entrance but everyone was friendly. I came here to relax a bit on my day off and fully enjoyed the location. They had pringles in a dispenser that made me laugh! The food is truly just that and a nut dispenser. I enjoyed the bartenders. They left to my own devices. Happy hour was a nice surprise when I accidentally stayed for a few more...
