David runs the place with enthusiasm and intelligence. He and his team curate the finest natural products from the area with the focus on quality, flavor, organic and super local. La Bonne Épicerie is without a doubt the best organic épicerie in Marseille. Everything is chosen with care, the fruit and veg are seasonal and local, and the quality is second to none. They have everything.. meats, charcuterie, cheese, bread, and wine! The épicerie is always spotless, which makes shopping there even more of a pleasure....

L'accueil et le magasin sont très agréables et le choix assez varié malgré une petite surface. Le gérant connait très bien son sujet et c'est toujours un plaisir de discuter avec lui :) Cependant et ça me crève le cœur de le dire mais les prix sont très élevés sur certains produits/légumes et la qualité n'est pas toujours là. Epinard, choux kale, mesclun... sont souvent déjà flétris et ne tiennent pas plus de 24h au frais. Pareil pour d'autres légumes. La qualité n'est pas constante et aux prix pratiqués c'est problématique. Il faut bien choisir certains fruits car par exemple le petit melon à 4€ si il n'est pas bon ça pique un peu quand même. Le saucisson à plus de 10€ était dur comme de la pierre. Du coup je fais de plus en plus d'infidélité à cette boutique car même si il faut essayer au quotidien de consommer moins et mieux, de privilégier les magasins de proximité, ce type de concept store reste onéreux par rapport à d'autres enseignes et malheureusement cible une clientèle aisée...
