Its been over 6 months in Montpellier now and Le Pat’s Deniel’s was on my radar for so long. But since most weekends they are full so after 2times before i could finally went to this place.
This place is hands down one of the best restaurants in Montpellier plus so much better than the restaurants in Paris. What makes it different is not just great food but also the best hosting. The owners of the place walks to every table and explains about the concept of the restaurant and the menu. It makes the experience very friendly and family like with other guests too.
The whole concept revolves around the love of Pat (The host) for Jack Daniel, and hence every appetizer, main course and dessert everything has jack daniel in it along with Some different type of jack daniel wiskey by the side.
The favourite choice will be to go for the menu which costs 26 euros and plus with the whiskeys that you want to try is extra. Best combination is foe gras as appetizer, lamb shanks as main course and tiramisu as dessert.
This was the best lamb shanks i ever tasted and portion size was huge so much so that our stomach started paining after this much food. We tried 150 jack daniel whiskey which was amazing.
In the end they ask you to get a picture with the jack daniel cut out :)
All in all one of the best experiences I had in terms of food...
Read moreSuperb! Delicious food and wine; relaxed and charming setting; excellent friendly service. And all very reasonably priced. The proprietor and his wife will greet you warmly and will look after you very well. Various Jack Daniels drinks are used in the dishes, but the brief menu includes alcohol free options in all courses. The food was beautifully flavoured and cooked. The wine list is excellent or you can choose from a long list of JD drinks - I had no idea there were so many! It's fairly small, so probably best to phone and make a reservation. One of the very best restaurants in...
