We Love Montpellier — Restaurant in Montpellier

So much happened in the span of 10 minutes while waiting for my food. The person making the food suddenly walked out the store and crossed the street. Came back and touch the counter and door with the same gloves he left with. He took a piece of chicken from the prepping counter left from a previous order and tossed it back in the chicken shawarma cone tray. He then left to the back room and came back with the same greasy used gloves. Starts to make smash patties and one breaks and half of it falls to the ground. Another employee bends down to pick it up and puts it on the grill.

I am baffled on how much wrong can happen in just 10 minutes....

They force you to use a machine to order and input any substitutions. The machine is only in French. Then we received our food and it was mostly wrong. The man argued with us that we got what we ordered until we showed him the receipt. Even then, he was very rude. The woman was very pleasant. The food tasted good even though it wasn't...

Je n’ai jamais vu ça. Après avoir passé commande, nous avons attendu plus d’une heure. J’ai demandé plusieurs fois si notre commande était sortie, mais aucun employé ne daignait répondre. Pendant ce temps, d’autres clients arrivés bien après nous étaient servis.

Le pire ? L’hygiène ! Un employé a soulevé une poubelle dégoulinante juste au-dessus du plan de travail, et le jus a coulé sur les sandwiches en préparation. À vomir, promis.

Quand enfin quelqu’un m’écoute, il m’annonce que notre commande a déjà été donnée à quelqu’un d’autre (!), alors qu’a aucun moment notre numéro n’a été appelé. Après insistance, ils nous font la commande, mais tout est fait à la va-vite : boisson oubliée, suppléments et sauces absents, et on sent qu’ils essaient de nous faire passer pour des menteurs alors que les naans demandés nécessitaient une cuisson spécifique que personne n’avait lancée pendant notre longue attente.

Bref, manque de respect, d’organisation et surtout d’hygiène. Je ne recommande absolument...
