IT - Italian Trattoria Montpellier — Restaurant in Montpellier

There was a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) of us mostly looking for a main course. We were shown to a lovely table and given menus and as the children were hungry we ordered some light bites and minerals and wine for the adults. We were informed that there was a long delay on pizza orders. When the snacks and drinks were served we tasted the wine the red was warm to the touch and in the mouth (very unpleasant) the white was equally warm when we questioned the white not being chilled the female server asked how we would like it and was told, chilled. She took it away returning minutes later with what appeared to be the same glass with a melting icecube in it. Terrible service. We asked for and paid the bill and had our main course in a decent...

Place is quite spacious, you can select your own seat without being guided to one. Liked the concept of taking menu, taking all the time you need to select what you want and ordering at the counter. Prices seem to be a bit lower than you would you usually pay for the dishes. A nice restaurant close to the place de comedie. The restaurant was very spacious and had beautiful decor inside and out. The staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful. It had a wonderful atmosphere and was busy when I visited. The restaurant was clean and the pasta was excellently prepared and was reasonably priced for a place close to the city center.
