Maison Mer — Restaurant in Montreuil-sur-Mer

The food was terrible. Risotto was raw rice soup, veal over cooked (was supposed to be medium) and the vegetables over done with no taste, spaghetti bolognese was a mess. The main chef declined to come to talk to us and instead said we have to come to him. Then he pretended not knowing English but quickly changed tone when realizing that our son speaks fluent French. And still he denied that there was anything wrong...

We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. Breakfast stood out with a great selection and variety — definitely the highlight. Lunch and dinner use the same menu, which felt a bit repetitive. While the food is nicely presented, it often lacked seasoning and depth of flavor. Some dishes, like the entrecôte, were served without any vegetables — just meat and fries — which felt incomplete. Worst service ever.

Reservation got lost and we were asked to go back at 9.30 instead of 7.30, time we originally booked.

Don't care much if the side dishes are put on the right instead of left.

Careless staff paied no attention to the customers which were voluntarily ignored

Nobody ever pour wine in the glass.

Bad experience.
