Be Cottage Hotel — Hotel in Montreuil-sur-Mer

Booked this hotel for upcoming new year stay 2023, got a very good rate for 4 people for 2 nights stay, after confirmation on Booking.com the following day received a phone call from the hotel saying that they had a computer problem and that I need to cancel on Booking.com then re-book straight after. I did as instructed and the hotel was fully booked!! After many emails to the hotel they came back to me eventually to say that they do not do 2 night stays that time of year and I can have a 3 night stay at 3 times the original cost, if this was true then why did booking.com allow me to book it on there site?? I have used booking.com many times and never experienced this, I know what the hotel were up to, they wanted more money and undersold the room, it was just the lies from the hotel that annoyed me, I have taken it up with booking.com and have re-booked 2 nights for the same dates at the wonderful Castel Victoria in le Touquet, and I add that I booked direct with the hotel which also...

The worst hotel in France! The staff are mostly incredibly rude. When we got to the room, it was tiny, and incredibly hot. The walls are as thin as paper - at all times there was noise from neighbouring rooms, you could follow a conversation! Not to mention the other noises you might hear in a hotel. The room was quite dirty, the shower looked like it had not had a proper clean in a while and there were old receipts and dust bunny's in the room. There were several broken items, including a light hanging off the wall and a mirror which was about to fall off the wall - both of these things could have been dangerous. The whole place was very dirty and run down, including the communal areas. The rooms fridge also had a broken door. The bed was very uncomfortable and led to waking up sore - after a disturbed night of sleep from other people's noise. The wifi did not work....

Excellent emplacement dans la. Ville proche de la. Place du marché et du centre ville et des commerces... La chambre fait moins de 12m2.. Nous la trouvons cosy niveau équipement et literie vraiment bien. Pour les points négatifs: pas de bouteille d eau gratuite faut compter: 1,50€ petite bouteille d eau. Minibar payant. Internet gratuit 🆓 et bonjour aussi. Salle de bain vraiment minuscule et les finitions sont vraiment bâclé, des taches au mur et plafonds des accessoires manquant dans la salle de bain avec trou apparent dans les carreaux des murs de la douche pas de barre de seuil entre la chambre et la salle de bain... Attention ⚠ à vos pieds... Aucune prise 🔌 si vous comptez recharger votre téléphone ou ordinateur faudra. Utiliser la. Prise de la salle de bain qui est à proximité direct du lavabo.. Je ne sais pas si c est sécuritaire... Pas de clim pas de possibilité de régler votre température 🌡 d ambiance. Très mal insonorisé bruit de la rue... Et bruit de passage dans le couloir sont infernal.. Si un. De vos voisin se rend au toilette vous vous y rendrez à coup sûr avec lui... Conversation téléphonique.... Bruit de tv.. Et bruit de pas et de conversation.... Je n ose même pas imaginé en été...... Les chambres sans clim..nous passons un séjour magnifique mais des que nous rentrons à l hôtel nous avons aussi hâte de rentrer chez nous....
