La Chope - Brasserie authentique au Touquet Paris Plage — Restaurant in Montreuil-sur-Mer

Komen eten met 10 mensen.

👎 Hadden ge reserveert maar een andere groep van 10 die niet reserveert had onze tafel aangewezen gekregen.

Hierdoor zaten wij verdeelt over 2 tafels (1 van 6 en 1 van 4) vlak naast de wc.

👎 Veel te krappe tafel

👎 Broken een glas bij het brengen van het eten

👎 Gooide de frieten bijna over de schoot van mijn tante bij het brengen.

👎 We kwamen toe om 19u30 Kregen eten om 20u50

👎 Bleken de garnaalkroketten nog hard/bevroren te zijn en niet gefrituurt.

👎 2 grote fouten gemaakt:

1. verkeer drankje gebracht (maar ze namen het terug en brachten het juiste)

2. verkeerde maaltijd gebracht Ze brachten ons een pannenkoek met ei maar dit hadden de nooit bestelt toen we dit melden kregen we wel weer de juiste.

👎 Portie friet bij mosselen was klein.

👎 Veel te warm iedereen in t-shirt en nog steeds zweten

👍 Knipburger was lekker en goed 👍 Mossels waren ook lekker zowel grote als kleine portie 👍 Vis met rijst was ook lekker.

👍 Werden 1 kaaskroket minder aangerekend als korting.

Samengevat: Er werden te veel fouten gemaakt om het 4 sterren te geven maar het eten was wel niet slecht

Come to eat with 10 people.

👎 Had you made a reservation but another group of 10 who did not make a reservation had been assigned our table.

This meant we were divided over 2 tables (1 of 6 and 1 of 4) right next to the toilet.

👎 We arrived at 7:30 PM We got our food at 8:50 PM

👎 Table is way too small

👎 The shrimp croquettes turned out to be hard/frozen and not fried.

👎 Made 2 big mistakes:

1. Brought the wrong drink (but they took it back and brought the right one)

2. Brought the wrong meal They brought us a pancake with egg but we had never ordered this when we reported this we did get the right one.

👎 Portion of fries with mussels was small.

👎 Much too hot everyone in a t-shirt and still sweating

👍 Knipburger was tasty and good 👍 Mussels were also tasty both large and small portions 👍 Fish with rice was also tasty. 👍 1 cheese croquette less was charged as a discount.

In summary: Too many mistakes are made to give it 4 stars but the food was not bad

A no-nonsense typical brasserie full of market stall traders and the local population catching up over mussels and chips although plenty of other things on the menu too. Not fine cuisine but excellent amd generous local dishes, from snacks (les Welsh ie cheese on toast), to typical traditional dishes like Blanquette de veau. Bustling atmosphere where you don't dwell over lunch but enjoy good and efficient service...

Had a fantastic time at this little restaurant just off the strip .. service was attentive and we were always topped up with drinks .. I had the mussels starter and the skate wing with frites for main.. perfectly cooked and loved it.. all 12 of us enjoyed our food.. prices was so much cheaper than most restaurants and we ended up paying less than 40€ per head... will we go back...
