My family has eaten at this gem of a restaurant a few times over the past three or four years. We keep going back because the atmosphere is great, the food excellent and the service impeccable.
The meal we had at the end of May 2019 was the best yet. The starter os scallop carpaccio cured in vodka (pictured) was my star dish but the steak I had for my main was also perfect. I'm not usually a pudding person but the sorbet flavoured with rosewater and strawberries was perfect for me.
We had a bottle of red wine with the meal - L'Absolu from the Domaine St Firmin, which is maybe 200 metres from the restaurant. It was amazing - I've had wine from St Firmin before, but none as good as this.
